Cloud Temple, an expert in digital transformation and the hosting and outsourcing of mission-critical applications, is strengthening its long-standing partnership with IBM, whose storage products have been used to develop its sovereign cloud platform, recently qualified as SecNumCloud by ANSSI*.
Over the past decade or so, the cloud has been accelerating the digital transformation of businesses and government agencies, and data security and sovereignty have become key issues. Against this backdrop, the strong partnership we've developed over the years with IBM has enabled us to define a trusted hosting infrastructure, which has just been awarded the highly sought-after SecNumCloud qualification.
Set up by ANSSI for cloud operators offering Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS) services, SecNumCloud qualification is based on a single, centralised repository, so that individual companies are not left to define and negotiate their own security requirements.
We're delighted to be strengthening our partnership with Cloud Temple, within the IBM ecosystem, and to be able to meet the needs of our joint customers through products that are perfectly suited to building sovereign infrastructures, a key challenge for our country.
The collaboration was built around these resilience issues, drawing on the strengths of IBM technologies:
- the highest possible level of automation with storage arrays from the IBM FlashSystem range,
- the performance and flexibility of the IBM Spectrum Protect family of backup solutions,
- the security of magnetic tape as a backup medium, in line with ANSSI recommendations, with IBM spearheading research in this area.
