Operations and MCO
- Operate and maintain Kubernetes/AKS clusters in production (updates, node management, RBAC, backups/recovery).
- Monitor, diagnose and handle incidents (analysis, resolution, escalation).
- Reduce recurring incidents and improve stability (MTTD/MTTR, reliability).
Multi-technology environments
- Intervene beyond Kubernetes according to customer needs:
- Systems: Linux (Debian/Ubuntu/RedHat) and Windows (AD, RDS).
- Network: DNS, routing, certificates, firewalls (e.g. Fortigate), access policies.
VDI: VMware Horizon. - Understanding and adapting to heterogeneous architectures.
Automation, observability and tools
- Automating recurring operations (Terraform, Ansible, Bash/Python scripting).
- Contributing to CI/CD chains and GitOps approaches (GitLab CI, Argo CD).
- Implementing and improving monitoring, alerting and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd/Loki, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics).
Continuous improvement and technical debt
- Identify the levers for stability, performance and maintainability.
- Implement sustainable post-incident corrective measures.
- Standardise, simplify, document (runbooks, REX, procedures).
Customer relations and collaboration
- Interacting with customers (explanation, support, recommendations).
- Working in coordination with internal teams (infrastructure, security, projects).
- Contributing to knowledge sharing and operating documentation.
Technical environment
- Kubernetes/AKS, Docker/Containerd, Helm.
- GitOps/CI-CD: GitLab CI, Argo CD.
- IaC/Automation: Terraform, Ansible; scripting Bash/Python.
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Fluentd/Loki; Azure Monitor/Log Analytics.
- Registry & storage: Harbor; Ceph.
- Network & security: DNS, TLS/certificates, network policies, Fortigate, Azure App Gateway (WAF), BGP.
- OS & VDI: Linux (Debian/Ubuntu/RedHat), Windows (AD, RDS), VMware Horizon
Diploma level Bac+5 Engineering degree or equivalent
Expected experience :
- 3 to 7 years' experience in production (infrastructure / cloud / devops)
- Practical experience of running Kubernetes (beyond project/build).
- At ease with multi-client, multi-technology solutions.
- In phase with concrete, pragmatic and results-oriented environments.
Essential technical skills :
- Operating Kubernetes in production (incident diagnostics, upgrades, RBAC, K8s network).
- Linux administration and network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- GitOps/CI-CD (GitLab CI, Argo CD) and IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
- Observability (monitoring, logs, alerting) and incident management.
- Scripting (Bash, Python or equivalent).
- Notions of operational security (RBAC, secrets, WAF, hardening).
Technical Skills Plus/Abilities appreciated:
- AKS/Azure experience (App Gateway WAF, Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Harbor knowledge, Ceph, Fluentd/Loki.
- Windows/AD, Fortigate, BGP.
- VDI (VMware Horizon).
Knowledge of languages
- English: Intermediate
- French : Advanced
