As part of an 8-person operations team and reporting to the Manager, you will ensure the stability and quality of the service provided, working in a managed services environment with high standards in terms of security and availability. You will also be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance and development of cloud applications.
Missions
The Cloud SRE Engineer’s main responsibilities will be:
Infrastructure: you build and develop the company’s cloud infrastructure
- Implement changes to the foundation and enhance the service offering to support the Cloud requirements of major transformation programmes
- To support application development teams in optimising and utilising cloud infrastructure platforms.
- Monitor developments in AWS services
Security : you take security considerations into account throughout the entire service lifecycle
- Improve Cloud compliance in accordance with the rules defined with the Security team
- Implement changes to the security components in the service catalogue.
ops : to help improve the reliability and availability of services
- To maintain operational readiness and enhance the reliability of the services managed by the team responsible for the cloud infrastructure, in order to ensure an optimal level of service
Finops: you ensure the financial optimisation of cloud infrastructure
- To facilitate cost monitoring, and to propose and implement measures to optimise cloud usage with a view to reducing costs.
You will have completed a five-year post-baccalaureate degree, an engineering degree or an equivalent university qualification, and have at least five years’ successful experience in cloud environments and technically demanding roles.
You have extensive experience in cloud engineering and DevOps/SRE, particularly in the deployment and ongoing maintenance of highly standardised cloud services.
You have a thorough understanding of the challenges relating to automation, quality, performance and infrastructure availability. Your experience in application development is complemented by a strong interest in the cloud and automation.
Experience gained in the banking sector, ideally within a financial institution, is a real asset.
Technical skills :
- AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS/Redis, S3, VPC/Route53, IAM/KMS; CloudWatch)
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Helm
- Container orchestration: Kubernetes / EKS
- Automation: CI/CD: Git, GitLab, GitLab CI
- Scripting: Python and/or Bash (knowledge of Go would be an advantage)
- Operating system: Linux
- Observability: Prometheus/Grafana and/or Datadog
- SRE/DevOps culture: reliability, resilience, automation
Bonus Skills:
- Automation & build: Ansible, Maven, Makefile
- Orchestration and data transfers: Apache Airflow, SFTP/AWS Transfer Family.
- Programming languages: Go.
- Methods & background: Agile/Scrum, FinOps, experience in the banking sector.
- Certifications: AWS (Associate/Professional), CKA/CKAD (Kubernetes).
- English required

- Practical experience in implementing SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices.
