Pre-Sales Engineer (M/F)

To strengthen our teams, we are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer who is keen to apply their technical expertise to high-stakes cloud projects.

At the crossroads of technology, business and customer needs, you play a key role in designing bespoke cloud solutions, from assessing requirements to responding to public tenders and framework agreements. Working closely with the sales teams and technical architects, you will help to propose relevant, competitive solutions that comply with the requirements of trusted cloud environments, notably SecNumCloud and HDS.

Your aim: to turn complex challenges into practical solutions and play an active part in the development of the sovereign cloud.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, your role will be to:

Support the sales teams, analyse customer needs and identify the challenges and constraints of projects.
To design tailored cloud solutions that are technically and financially sound, whilst complying with SecNumCloud and HDS requirements.
To lead technical workshops, carry out demonstrations and take part in client presentations.
Prepare tenders in collaboration with the sales teams and technical experts.
To provide distinctive technical expertise to support negotiations and contribute to successful sales.

You hold a five-year post-baccalaureate qualification in engineering and have at least seven years’ experience in technical pre-sales, ideally in cloud environments, with a good understanding of cloud architectures and regulatory requirements.

Areas to master:

Excellent understanding of cloud architectures, particularly infrastructure.
A good understanding of IaaS, networking and storage environments.
Knowledge of the SecNumCloud and HDS security and compliance frameworks.
Ability to design comprehensive technical solutions tailored to clients’ needs.

Tools to master:

Office Pack.
Artificial intelligence: understanding the concepts and common uses of LLMs (language models).

Language skills :
English: intermediate level, particularly for reading and writing technical documents.

Expected skills:

You demonstrate strong commercial acumen, good persuasive skills and excellent writing abilities, combined with an analytical mind and a pragmatic, business-oriented approach. You are inquisitive, independent and meticulous; you are able to take the initiative and collaborate effectively with technical teams, whilst adhering to the company’s framework and ethical standards.
