Join Cloud Temple and help shape the future of the European sovereign cloud!
Cloud Temple, a leader in digital sovereignty, helps businesses and public sector bodies to transform, host and outsource their mission-critical applications.
Against a backdrop of rapidly expanding applications of artificial intelligence, Cloud Temple is taking a new step forward. We are placing agent-based AI at the heart of our strategy to bring about a new generation of autonomous cloud services, designed, deployed and operated by agents on a 100 % sovereign infrastructure.
To realise this ambition, we are setting up a new division dedicated to AI and are recruiting two AI Engineers / Architects.
Their role: to design, build and develop our agent-based platform with a high degree of autonomy and full responsibility for both product and technical aspects.
You won’t be joining a project that’s already set in stone. You’ll be helping to shape it from the ground up – from the architecture to the initial use cases – with the opportunity to develop a strategic offering at the intersection of sovereign cloud and artificial intelligence.
As AI Engineers / Architects, your responsibilities will be to build, from start to finish and with full ownership, a sovereign agent-based platform capable of covering the entire lifecycle of cloud services:
- To design and deploy new value-added services on top of our IaaS, via agents.
- Operating these services in a production environment: agents that monitor, detect and resolve incidents, apply updates and carry out autonomous remediation.
The aim is to give agents a high degree of autonomy, achieved within the safeguards imposed by a SecNumCloud/HDS environment: least privilege, validation beyond the reversible scope, rollback, and traceability of every action. You will work closely with the product team to iterate quickly on the MVP.
This role is one of impact: using AI to achieve tangible improvements in performance and transform the way the company is managed.
- Design and deploy the agent-based platform: orchestration of multi-task agents, pipelines and autonomous workflows.
- Build MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and clients to connect agents to our tools, APIs and internal data.
- Set up the agent framework: execution loop, tools, memory management, and, above all, testing (test suites, metrics, non-regression testing) to ensure that the agents are reliable before they go into production.
- Automate CI/CD via agents (GitHub/GitLab integration) for creating and updating services.
To standardise the monitoring of agents (tracing, costs, latency) and their execution safeguards. - Define technical patterns and become the in-house expert on agent-based AI.
With a five-year degree (from an engineering school or a ‘grande école’), you have a background as a Lead Tech or Developer and have moved into the field of AI. You have already designed and deployed agent-based systems, either as proof-of-concepts or in production. Self-motivated and product-focused, you are a true builder, capable of rapidly transforming an idea into a concrete and operational MVP.
Agent platform — the heart of the system:
- Multi-agent orchestration and the design of autonomous workflows.
- MCP (Model Context Protocol): design of servers and clients, and exposure of tools to agents.
- Agent harness & evaluation: loops, tools, memory management, RAG, and systematic evaluation of agents.
- Reliability & safeguards: LLM observability/tracing, cost and latency control, model selection and routing.
Cloud & infrastructure:
- IaaS, containers and Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Automated CI/CD via agents (GitHub/GitLab).
- Databases (preferably PostgreSQL), networking and system monitoring.
Sovereignty — what sets Cloud Temple apart:
- Open-weight models (Mistral, Llama, etc.) and self-hosted inference (e.g. vLLM).
- Model-agnostic design: not relying on an external, non-sovereign LLM API.
Safety & controlled autonomy — production review:
- Least privilege, validations/approvals, idempotence, rollback, control of the blast radius.
- Traceability and auditability of every agent action — a prerequisite in a SecNumCloud/HDS environment.
Fluency in English is essential.
