Determined to become the trusted cloud of choice for the French and European markets, Cloud Temple has set itself an ambitious technological course for the next three years. Its aim is to develop a catalogue of services broad enough to be part of the multi-cloud strategy of businesses and organisations, and to move into the European arena tomorrow.
With less than 20% of the national market, French cloud players are only capturing a very small share of the sector's growth. Yet expectations are high, both for public-sector players obeying the French government's "Cloud at the centre" doctrine, for operators of vital importance (OIV) and essential services operators (OSE), and for businesses concerned about the sovereignty of the hosting of their sensitive data and applications.
To fully play its role as the guarantor of Europe's strategic autonomy, without any loss of functionality for users, the trusted cloud needs to offer a sufficiently broad and competitive ecosystem of services. That's why Cloud Temple is constantly developing new trusted technology building blocks. Our aim is to respond to all the digital transformation strategies of businesses and organisations.
Building a vast catalogue of services
Large companies, SMEs and public sector bodies expect the French cloud industry to offer a vast catalogue of services that meet their multiple uses and performance requirements, without any functional regression. Against this backdrop, Cloud Temple is stepping up the development of new technological building blocks based on its SecNumCloud-qualified trusted IaaS. The company's roadmap is designed to bring together the ecosystem of French software publishers on a foundation of trust in order to meet the digital transformation needs of businesses and organisations.
In the second half of 2023, the launch from Trusted Publisher programme Cloud Temple's software partners will be able to offer businesses and organisations a wide range of solutions (secure file transfer, electronic signature, ERP, paperless invoicing, project management, etc.). Cloud Temple's ambition is also to support the French software ecosystem over the long term in achieving SecNumCloud compliance, the ANSSI's benchmark qualification, which is still very difficult to obtain.
A three-year technology roadmap
To be able to support all the digital transformations taking place in Industry, Finance and the Public Sector, Cloud Temple will become, from the end of 2023, the a pioneer in trusted PaaSA catalogue of SecNumCloud-qualified technological solutions from ANSSI.
- Putting the product into production object storage in Q3 2023, with SecNumCloud qualification expected in Q1 2024.
- Production start-up of 1er Trusted PaaS based on containerisation in Q4 2023, with SecNumCloud qualification expected in Q1 2024.
- Production launch of five services DBaaS PostgreSQL and Redis in H2 2025 with SecNumCloud qualification in Q1 2026; Kafka, MySQL, MongoDB in H1 2026 with qualification expected in Q1 2027.
- Provision of qualified cybersecurity tools: Bastion host in Q1 2023, HSM in H2 2025, Secrets Manager in H1 2026.
Finally, in order to offer a broad catalogue of managed technology building blocks, without any break in trust, Cloud Temple will officially integrate the PAMS qualification (Secured Administration and Maintenance Service Provider) from the ANSSI on 1 January 2009.er 2023 on its cloud adoption and management activities.
In our technological investments, we have prioritised the most relevant products to be able to respond to more than 80% of our customers' use cases. Hence our interest in containerisation, which is becoming an essential part of digital transformation strategies, providing access to new levers for modernising applications and reducing the carbon footprint of information systems. In this way, we are strengthening our role as advisor and supporter of digital sobriety.
Europe and new disruptive uses
Cloud Temple's ambitions are also geographical. Between now and 2025, the company plans to expand its footprint across Europe with the opening of three regions in strategic business and digital hubs in Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Dublin. Cloud Temple will thus strengthen its ability to meet the needs of international French groups, while consolidating its partnerships with major digital players. The aim is to deploy the same technological model as in France, by installing infrastructures in partner data centres.
The final technological component of Cloud Temple's roadmap is to support new uses linked to the disruptive innovations of AI and quantum computing:
- Trusted artificial intelligenceserver production GPU SNC qualifiers in the catalogue in Q1 2024
- Quantum confidence: study underway with a strategic partner to integrate the quantum computing solutions to the services platform and make them available to customers' R&D teams.
