Against this backdrop of growth and technological ambition, we're recruiting our Head of IaaS - a strategic, structuring role at the heart of the performance and evolution of our multi-tenant cloud platform.
Your tasks
Reporting to the CTO, you will have overall responsibility for Cloud Temple's IaaS platforms and products - from vision to operations, including management of a team of around 30 staff.
- Define and steer the IaaS roadmap (compute, storage, network, connectivity), in direct liaison with the CTO and CPO, to align technical ambitions with business objectives
- Design and operate highly available, certified platforms (SecNumCloud, HDS, ISO 27001), with high resilience, performance and scalability requirements
- Industrialising and automating infrastructure practices (IaC, CI/CD, SRE) to improve reliability and reduce time-to-market
- Managing and structuring the teams (~30 people): defining the Target Operating Model, recruiting talent, developing skills and fostering a culture of operational excellence
- Managing the platform's economic performance: budget, CAPEX/OPEX, capacity planning and monitoring profitability indicators
Training: 5-year degree, engineering school or university equivalent. Cloud or security certifications (e.g. AWS, Azure, CISSP) are an asset.
Experience:
- At least 10 years in critical infrastructure (computing, networking, storage, data centre)
- At least 5 years' experience in technical team management
- Significant experience with a cloud provider or multi-tenant IaaS host is essential
Skills required:
- Proficiency in large-scale virtualisation platforms (VMware, KVM, Xen or equivalent)
- Solid grounding in backbone networks, operator connectivity and software-defined storage
- Experience of infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible or equivalent)
- Experience in SRE, observability and high availability
- Knowledge of certified and restricted environments (SecNumCloud, HDS, ISO 27001)
