Database Engineer

Missions 

• As Database Engineer, your responsibilities will include :
  Management and design of database architectures for large-scale projects.
• Optimising database performance and security.
  Working with development teams to integrate databases into applications.
• Implementing quality standards and good data management practices.
• Be the focal point and technical leader for customers, managing additional tasks compared to a traditional administrator, such as planning and developing solutions.
• Automation of database-related processes.

Level of diplomas :

5 years' higher education specialising in computing, information systems or a related field.

Level of experience :

5 to 10 years as a database engineer, with the ability to work independently on complex issues, from design to implementation of solutions without outside help.

Tools to master : 

• Database management systems (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Programming languages (SQL, Python).
• Project management tools (Jira, Confluence).

Language skills :

• English: Intermediate
• French : Advanced

Expected skills :

Ability to work in a team and team leadership.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and results-oriented.
Excellent communication skills and understanding of customer issues.
