This is a strategic position: it positions the Legal Counsel as the legal guarantor of our commercial commitments, ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud activities.
Duties of the position
As Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts, you will be the legal and regulatory pillar of our commercial activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer contracts: drafting, analysing and negotiating contracts, ensuring their quality and completeness, identifying contractual risks and taking part in negotiations with customers.
- Supporting the sales and pre-sales teams: assisting with responses to invitations to tender, analysing compliance requirements, assessing the risks associated with commitments and contributing to the contractual playbook.
- Structuring the contractual model: participating in the development of contractual models, contributing to structuring projects and industrialising contractual practices.
- Ensuring Cloud regulatory compliance: integrating SecNumCloud, HDS and other qualification requirements, analysing the legal impact of certifications and reference frameworks.
- Coordinating with the DPO and CISO: integrating RGPD clauses, ensuring the consistency of security commitments, and managing customer audits.
- Managing customer audits and questionnaires: responding to security, compliance and cloud questionnaires, coordinating internal contributions and ensuring consistency of responses.
- Ensuring continuous monitoring and improvement: monitoring digital law, cloud regulations and cybersecurity, and structuring internal tools (templates, playbooks, documentation).
With 5 years' higher education in law, a Masters 2 in digital law, business law or equivalent, you have built up solid expertise in contract law and technological environments. You are comfortable working in demanding legal environments, where regulatory compliance, data security and securing commercial commitments are critical issues.
You will have at least 5 years' experience as a lawyer specialising in contract law, with a genuine ability to work independently on complex issues. You are familiar with the entire contractual lifecycle, from drafting models to negotiating and managing client audits and questionnaires. You are comfortable with the main regulatory frameworks such as SecNumCloud, HDS and RGPD, as well as with IT and cloud environments.
You also have a good understanding of project environments and collaborate effectively with sales, technical and compliance teams, using collaborative tools and office suites. Your level of professional English enables you to work in contractual contexts documented in English, while your command of French ensures fluid communication with your internal and customer contacts.
As well as your technical expertise, you stand out for your attitude. You know how to work as part of a team, while naturally taking the lead when necessary. You have a structured analytical mind, with a strong ability to diagnose, resolve and anticipate legal and contractual risks. You are results-oriented, proactive in your actions and a driving force behind the continuous improvement of contractual processes.
Your sense of service and communication skills enable you to understand customer issues and respond with precision. You build lasting relationships based on trust, rigour, transparency and courtesy. You have a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset that enables you to translate technical constraints into operational legal clauses.
