Pre-sales engineer (M/F)

This is a strategic position: it positions the Pre-Sales Engineer as the key technical contact between our customers and our teams, guaranteeing the relevance and competitiveness of our cloud solutions.

Duties of the position

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will act as the technical and commercial bridge between Cloud Temple and our customers. Your responsibilities include:

• Qualifying opportunities: supporting the sales teams at customer meetings, analysing technical and business requirements, and identifying project challenges and constraints.
• Designing solutions: defining appropriate cloud architectures, designing technical and financial offerings (Cloud and Managed Services), and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (SecNumCloud, HDS, PAMS).
• Leading the pre-sales relationship: running technical workshops, demonstrations and test environments (sandboxes), and taking part in customer presentations.
• Responding to invitations to tender: participating in the response strategy, drafting technical dossiers (simple and complex), and coordinating internal contributions.
• Supporting negotiations: providing a differentiating technical argument and contributing to successful sales.

Diploma level
Engineering degree (Grande Ecole) or equivalent

Level of experience
Senior profile with proven experience in pre-sales, cloud architecture or technical consulting
Experience in responding to public tenders and framework agreements

Skills required

Essential skills

• Excellent command of cloud architectures (IaaS, network, storage)
• Knowledge of SecNumCloud, HDS and PAMS repositories
• Ability to design complete technical solutions
• Professional English (reading and technical writing)

Skills appreciated

• Experience in the public or regulated sector
• Experience in Managed Services
• Experience in cloud hybridisation (Azure/AWS)

Personal qualities The following skills are required: an aptitude for sales, excellent writing skills, curiosity, rigour, a pragmatic approach, the ability to work as part of a team and autonomy.
