Backbone Network Engineer (M/F)

To support Cloud Temple's growth, we are looking for a Senior network engineer F/H.

Experienced and knowledgeable about IT, you're keen to take on new challenges and want to contact a dynamic and innovative company.

You will be involved in the architecture, deployment and operation of network infrastructures. 

The main objective of these achievements will be to gradually increase the proportion of automated processes and their documentation. 

You will have the opportunity to develop and share your knowledge in a wide range of areas, including : 

• IP MPLS networks 
• Peering and transit 
• Dark fibre and DWDM 
• Supervision and metrology 
• Private Cloud - Public Cloud hybridisation
• Product strategy
• Network automation and software development
• Information systems security 
• Creating and updating documentation 

Your main contacts will be the Computing and Storage team and, more occasionally, Service Delivery Managers, project managers, developers and customers. 

Expected technical skills : 

• General network knowledge (protocols, uses) 
• Basics of routing and switching 
• At least one scripting or development language, basic Git commands 

Will be a plus : 

• Knowledge of Juniper Junos 
• Knowledge of Linux systems 
• Fortinet and Adva skills 
• Mastery of Wireshark 

Having trained as an engineer, Master's degree in telecoms networks or development, and with at least 7 to 10 years' successful experience, you are independent and adaptable. You're not afraid of working on several subjects at the same time. 

You are able to have a technical conversation in English. 

Additional information: 

The position to be filled is a 37-hour/week permanent contract + on-call duty. 

You can choose to be based in La Défense, Lyon or Tours.
