Mastering the location of our datacenters

The carbon intensity of electricity produced by a country depends on its electricity mix. In France, 1 kWh of electricity consumed emits an average of ~60g CO2e (in life cycle).

France is one of the countries with the lowest carbon-carbon electricity in the world. For our European customers, we have therefore chosen to use datacenters located in France, in order to reduce the Greenhouse Gas emissions related to the electricity consumed.

Fostering the development of renewable energy

Reducing the carbon intensity of electricity worldwide requires the promotion of all “low carbon” means of production, of which the ENR (renewable energy) are part.

In addition to the above point, we also attach importance to being able to consume electricity from renewable energy sources.

Today, more than 90% of the electricity we buy is produced in this way and our goal is to quickly increase this figure to 100%.
