Paris, 19 November 2025 - Cloud Temple has become the first Gaia-X Label level 3 certified cloud provider, marking a decisive step towards a truly sovereign, competitive and sustainable European digital industry.

This certification establishes the compliance of Cloud Temple's cloud services with the highest European standards of security, transparency, interoperability and technological independence. Gaia-X Label level 3 prefigures the future European EUCS High+ scheme, and guarantees complete protection from non-European jurisdictions, providing a framework of trust aligned with the values and requirements of the European market.

The announcement comes at a time when the Franco-German summit on digital sovereignty has reaffirmed the need for a common framework for the cloud in Europe, and ANSSI and BSI are jointly committed to defining operational criteria aligned with the future EUCS. Gaia-X Label level 3 is the first auditable foundation.

"We need to build a Europe of the cloud based on trust, not dependence, and the Gaia-X level 3 label will finally provide a common language for governments, businesses and institutions. This is the industrial base that will enable Europe to exist technologically, to innovate freely and to have a lasting impact on the global digital economy.

Sébastien Lescop, Managing Director of Cloud Temple

Already SecNumCloud-qualified by ANSSI in France and BSI C5-compliant in Germany, Cloud Temple has become the first player to combine these three reference frameworks, confirming its position as a pillar of European digital trust.
This recognition confirms a strategy that we have been pursuing for several years: bringing together Europe's technological elite - from manufacturers to integrators - to transform the best technological building blocks into trusted services on a large scale.

Cloud Temple is working closely with major players such as Thales, Atos, T-Systems and the CEA, illustrating the rise of a European industry capable of offering a complete value chain: from high-performance computing infrastructures to AI software platforms, operated and secured on the continent.

The company is also taking an ambitious environmental approach to its development, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30 % per euro spent by 2028.

"Sovereignty is not a barrier, it's an architecture: one that enables Europe to control its digital future while reconciling performance and responsibility.

Sébastien Lescop, Managing Director of Cloud Temple
