Progress Kemp Virtual LoadMaster is an advanced software load balancer and application delivery controller (ADC) that supports major workloads through easy-to-use templates. Virtual LoadMaster (VLM) offers convenient features such as SSL offload, advanced authentication and various traffic management options.

How to use

This image is available for OpenIaaS and VMware deployment. Availability depends on the features enabled in your environment and the permissions associated with the target. For more details, please refer to our quick start guide.

Deployment configuration

A "Standard" deployment of Kemp VLM consists of a cluster of 2 virtual machines (on 2 AZs).

Each VM must have a minimum size of 2 vCores and 4 GB RAM.

The initial login for these machines is "bal / 1fourall"."

The appliances come with a 30-day trial version. A licence (perpetual or subscription) must then be applied (Bring your Own Licence). These licences may be supplied by Cloud-Temple.

Cloud Temple guarantees the ability to deploy the template image and the availability of the underlying infrastructure. This includes the ability to instantiate the image on the virtualised environment.

However, the publisher is responsible for supporting the application content and ensuring that the template image functions properly internally. This includes in particular :

• Software patches and updates
• Application bug resolution
• Assistance with configuring the services contained in the image
• The compatibility of applications with the environment

Cloud Temple does not provide any support commitment concerning the actual content of the template image, its applications or their functional behaviour.
