Overview
Virtualised environments in public or private clouds require advanced threat protection equivalent to that offered on physical servers.
With the Stormshield Elastic virtual appliance, customers can now control and guarantee the security of their cloud environments. All the multi-tier security features that have made Stormshield products so successful are available in this dedicated application.
The Stormshield Elastic virtual appliance helps you make a smooth transition to the cloud.
All the advanced security features of our physical and virtual appliances will be available. Stormshield Elastic Virtual Appliance protects your virtual applications, servers and networks.
All the multi-level security features (firewall, IPS, vulnerability manager, application control) that have contributed to the success of Stormshield products are available in this dedicated application.
Using a VPN connection between a Stormshield appliance installed on site and a Stormshield Elastic virtual appliance, a datacentre can be securely extended into the cloud to create a private cloud.
How to use
This image is available for OpenIaaS and VMware deployment. Availability depends on the features enabled in your environment and the permissions associated with the target. For more details, please refer to our quick start guide.

Cloud Temple guarantees the deployment capability of the template image and the availability of the underlying infrastructure. This includes the ability to instantiate the image on the virtualised environment. However, support for the application content and the proper internal functioning of the template image is the responsibility of its publisher. This includes, in particular:
- Software patches and updates
- Application bug resolution
- Assistance with configuring the services contained in the image
- Application compatibility with the environment
Cloud Temple provides no support commitment regarding the actual content of the template image, its applications, or their functional behaviour.
