The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing complex programmes and projects for one or more key accounts, in France and internationally. He/she will ensure that deliverables are of the highest quality, that deadlines are met and that solutions are implemented correctly, while ensuring that the overall coherence of actions is maintained.
MISSIONS
As Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end on-premise and private/sovereign cloud infrastructure projects (build, migration, refresh, security).
You will be involved in :
Framing and launch
- Gathering and formalising customer requirements (challenges, scope, constraints, dependencies).
- Drawing up the project charter and Project Execution Plan (PEP): deliverables, milestones, governance, RACI, risks, quality plan.
- Estimate costs, budget, macro planning, staffing and prerequisites (hardware, licences, access).
- Organise the kick-off and align the stakeholders (internal, customer, partners/publishers).
Planning and operational control
- Drawing up the WBS, detailed schedule and critical path; managing capacity/resources.
- Keeping the action plan, risk/opportunity register and decision register up to date.
- Monitor progress, ROI and variances; define and manage remediation plans.
Governance and communication
- Leading routines and committees (project, technical, risk, steering) with support materials and KPIs.
- Ensuring clear and regular reporting (progress, risks, AR/RJ, decisions, impact).
- Manage expectations, arbitrate priorities and help resolve sticking points.
Technical and quality coordination
- Coordinate architects, tech leads and teams (systems, network, security, storage, backup, virtualisation) Validate high-level and detailed design with architects; challenge technical choices.
- Ensuring the quality of technical deliverables (DAT, HLD/LLD, configuration files).
Security, compliance and change management
- Integrate security and compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, hardening best practice) right from the design stage.

- Document and trace derogations/waivers; manage remediation plans.
Tests, recipes and production launch
- Defining test/reception strategies and plans, acceptance criteria and changeover scenarios.
- Managing test execution, correcting anomalies, go/no-go.
- Carry out cutovers and validate post-MEP stabilisation.
Financial management and purchasing
- Monitor the budget, EBIT, margins and invoicing; secure the project's profitability.
- Managing procurement (hardware, licences), deliveries, stocks and warranties.
- Manage the scope of the project and change requests, and define the cost/time impacts.
Continuous improvement and industrialisation
- Contributing to the development of delivery methodologies, templates, checklists and standards.
- Capitalising on feedback, sharing best practice and enriching the knowledge base.
- Suggest optimisations (processes, tooling, automation) to improve quality and lead times.
Contributing to pre-sales and product development
- Participating in feasibility studies, costings, schedules and risk matrices.
- Prepare response files (delivery section), and take part in oral presentations if required.
- Consolidate feedback from the field in order to develop our offerings (patterns, technical reference systems).
📚 Training and technical skills:
- 5 years' higher education (engineering school or equivalent).
- IT project management expertise: Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint/Excel, Visio -SM/CMDB: ServiceNow, GLPI (or equivalent)
- Methods and standards: ITIL v4, Agile/Scrum, Prince2/PMP (certifications appreciated)
- Technical environment knowledge : VMware vSphere, backup (Veeam), systems (Linux/Windows), networks (IP, firewalls, load balancing), storage.
- Experience of private/sovereign cloud environments (Cloud Temple, Azure, AWS).
