The magazine Cloud Temple supports the Veolia group

Cloud Temple is supporting the Veolia group in a major project to migrate its SAP Financial Consolidation solution to a 100% Cloud environment, as well as its day-to-day outsourcing since 2016.

Veolia is a French multinational and a world leader in public services. Veolia offers its local authority and corporate customers expertise in three complementary areas: water cycle management, waste management and recovery, and energy management.

At the end of 2016, the Veolia group decided to migrate its SAP FC financial consolidation system from its on-premise version to the Cloud. Against this backdrop, Veolia was looking for a partner who could support it in this migration project, which required business skills with regard to the SAP FC solution, as well as real technological expertise to manage the aspects linked to deployment in the Cloud.

After studying the various players in the market, Veolia chose to entrust this project to a consortium of three complementary players: Viareport (for project management and its mastery of the SAP FC solution), Cloud Temple (for hosting) and Team work (for outsourcing and application operation). All these players worked in synergy to launch this large-scale project, which has been in production since October 2016.

Under a firm three-year renewable contract, Cloud Temple is responsible for the entire cloud infrastructure and hosting of the solution. As a result, the project has been a real success for over two years, enabling Veolia to rely on a solution and infrastructure tailored to its business needs.

By choosing Cloud Temple, Veolia was able to

  • Obtain the design of an industrial, scalable and robust target solution;
  • Automate and evolve towards a catalogue of business services;
  • Making a commitment and manage a service provided to the user ;
  • Freedom from for better support over the long term.

The Veolia - Cloud Temple adventure continues!
